requiring a true professional to get you set-up and trained with
the proper equipment. At Cleland's you will find World
Class Archery Champions, experienced bow hunters, and avid
shooters in tune with the with many technical aspects of the sport and its equipment.

JUNIOR OLYMPIC ARCHERY DEVELOPMENT
(JOAD) PROGRAM
|
|
|
Members of Cleland's JOAD
Program are coached by Matt Cleland. Matt was the
1998 National Archery Champion, a member of the U.S.
Archery team from 1996 through 2001 and holder of World,
National and State records. Cleland's program is
open to young archers ages eight through eighteen who
shoot target, hunting, compound or recurve bows.
The archers compete with themselves to earn higher rank
(more certificates) as opposed to competing with each
other. Because the program is not a league type
format, it is not imperative that the archers come every
week.

If your son or
daughter has shown an interest in archery, there is not better
place for them to spend Thursday evenings (December through
April) than at Cleland's Outdoor World! For a mere $12.00
per week, your child or teen will receive instruction from the
best teachers around and a form of competition with themselves
to achieve higher levels of competency in archery.
Beginners are scheduled from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and those in the
Advanced category are scheduled from 7:30-9:00 p.m. The
JOAD program is THE archery skills builder. More
importantly, it will enrich your child's self-esteem and
confidence as well.

Please
contact the Archery Department at 419-865-4713 for
more information or to enroll your child. JOAD
information is also available on the
USA Archery
